Thought they were done filling the lake - water temp was low 70s - looks topped off. Found a lot of small fish in trees close to shore - fly fishing heaven. Fish are still scattered since the "rising". Managed a few nice ones, out deeper, before the wind came up...

Stan - I was catching 8s & 9s early morning, on just a plain jig with almost every cast. There was a fog on the lake so I started close to shore and saw the smaller fish feeding. When the fog lifted - went hunting for the big fish... There's a guy on bigbluegill (Bob Gaines) that has been hitting some big fish with a fly rod (5wt) fishing the same water I am fishing.
Great looking fish.
