Kathy ketched a big one.

Now true test of our marriage. When your wife catches a monster crappie and is now the Crappie Queen while I am merely crappie Keith. Especially since she caught it sitting on our dock at LSL with her lil zebco 202 all by herself while I was near by ketchn lil bug eyed crappie for our friends grandkids. Always telling me she knows how to fish so dont give her advice. Line was just hanging down in water and boom she jerked this one in. She has bragging rights forever!it was over 16 inches and probably 2.5 plus.

Congrats. Use girls know how and can get it done. So far over our lifetime hubby has caught the biggest crappie and bass. Only 1/2 lb difference on biggest catfish. Well he has the biggest blue and I have th biggest flathead. But I have him on the biggest lake sturgeon. 5 ft. Long and 44 lbs. quickly released to provide more fun.

My wife does that to me when we trout fish, that's why i don't tell her about the crappie trips (till they're over). Way to go Kathy!

crazy thing is? We caught literally hundreds of crappie in week before and many, many more with our friends after and caught only 1 11 inch keeper between us.

I have a wig and funny looking pair of glasses you can borrow. My wife does that to me and when she sees you she wants you to tell everyone who caught the BIG FISHTHAT DAY. Enjoy it sure is fun when they catch good fish too just as much fun for them as us.

That's a dandy, my wife always catches the big fish.

Oh I don't mind at all. Love it when my baby can get into the fish and does well. Has fished since she was little and no one taught her but she always took care of her kids and sisters kids with baiting their hooks with worms so they call her the Masterbaiter still. course one could take that many ways and I always chuckle when she or they say that.

Besides I am used to the humiliation as she has been right on so many issues over last few years including buying this place on lake and me getting our fishing pontoon. Plus she always wants to go fishing in gulf when we visit our friends in FL and that's always a great time.
