Those could possibly be bluegill and not crappie. Take some crickets with you next time out and tightline over and in the brush and see if that makes any difference.

Ink may be right and in that depth I'm thinking they would be whoppers.

Remus is down for a while brettw hopefully ill be back at um in a week or so

Brettw I thought you said you caught one craapie out of that bunch. You snagged it on the tail with the hook.

I caught one crappie somewhere during my 3 hr voyage.
