That's what we are always saying about the weather forecasters. I hope we are right. They are calling for 4.9 inches of rain over next 2 1/2 days
for the Big 4. With them almost full, this could not be a good thing.

Let her rip!!!!! They letting em roll anyway and not getting much off of them
Saw a forecast yesterday where they were calling for 7 inches or so up around here and holly springs area. Butla and Sardis be running over again.
If you get 7 inches of rain in 3 days, they will all be running over.
Too late to make a big difference in my opinion anyway. I like high water. Not quite this high but at least I can fish out of the wind!! [emoji4]

Here at Long Branch, I dumped 4 inches out of my gauge, and it's raining, not as hard as it was but still doing a fair job out there. I don't think a drought is in our immediate future.
Dumped 3.25 this morning at winona
Got another inch so far today, makes the total 5.5

Grenada just went over emergency spillway and Enid should go over before Monday.
Yard looks like a lake think they where calling for 6 to 12 inches of rain
Heart goes out to the farmers that hustled some seen in the ground. They are having enough trouble without this.
Sad, Sad!
I am looking and releasing acres and acres of failed corn now. Cotton and rice may not get planted and the soybean price is in the tank. This will be a survival year for farmers, forget making a profit. The farmers are already going to the dealerships and asking to pay only interest on equipment payments this fall and the dealers are agreeing. I think the banks may have to make some deals as well.
Banks will worry you to death trying to give you an umbrella when the sun is shinning. They don't know you when it's raining.
Prayers for all involved. Hopefully it dries up in time so it’s not a total loss for the farmers. Water like this hurts a lot of small business. From tourist to guides hotels restaurants the lists gos on.
