Anybody running one of these Tempress seats? I'm going through a round of back problems and thinking the arm rests might help.
This would be going on a Tracker stick steer Panfish 16.

I enjoyed arm rests but you might also look into Shock absorbing seat pedestal, a lot of folks here have them in there stick steers.
Maybe one of them will chime in and help you.
That's not an option on my boat, unless I take out the factory seat bases that have considerable storage. I have not (yet?) been bothered by the ride of the boat, mostly by fatigue in my surgically repaired (10 years ago) neck, I know that around the house an armchair is almost a must.Quote:

Something I didn't think of, is the width of the seat. You don't have a lot of excess room on either side of the seat, even less when the seat is turned partially or all the way to the side.
More thinking and tape measure work to do now.

I've had two in my boat going on 7 years. Best investment ever. All my friends love them too. I can seat and troll all day in comfort.
If you decide to go without armrests, the millennium seats are sure hard to beat. I’ve sat in mine for 7-8 hours at a time, and have done the same in a deer stand (I’ve got a few of their deer stands) with zero issues.
Can't speak for the ones with armrest but we put Tempress seats in our Alumacraft last fall and we love them. My wife had back surgery in Nov and these seats are much better on her back than the factory Alumacraft seats. Their website shows a seat called a Probax Orthopedic series that I imagine would be a great product.

I would sure suggest getting some measurements. I have a temptress highback in my wareagle. It is all I cand do to get by throttle control. Was going to install a millennium but it’s just to wide. You might be able to do something with one of those add on arm rests. Think I saw something years ago where they had a bracket that mounted to seat and arm rest and brace just slid into it. That way you could remove it to move to back of boat then just drop it back in place.
Ive got 2 of them on my pontoon, I have a messed up back and these seats make it to where I can fish most of the day, very comfortable only downside is they dont fold down.. Everyone that sits in them loves them, worth every penny to me.
They support your lower back very well, I hardly use the arm rests when fishing.
Ive got 2 Millineum seats that came off my previous boat and these Tempress seats are even more comfortable, but they are also a couple inches wider then a standard seat if I remember correctly.
I had the Tempress high backs in a sticksteer and they were great.
I’m hoping the armrest highback seats will fit, but I’m doubtful. Hopefully the Bass Pro in Little Rock will have one of these seats in stock and I can get a better idea of fit.

If you are just looking for a normal boat seat that needs no installation or mounting, then this product is highly recommended. This Leadpro folding deck chair takes pride in being durable and gives you the ability to be folded easily for safekeeping when not in use.
