Pretty sure it’s a 1949. Going to load the boat and trailer on my 16ft trailer tomorrow afternoon and wash it off all the dust before bringing it to our shop. We brought the motor back today. My brother got it at a storage unit auction. It’s been in storage for years. It’s 13 ft long and a very solid hull. Still has all the old cable andd pulleys for steering and throttle cable. Looks like they removed the motor so it would fit in the storage space. Motor seems to have good compression. My Merc. serial # ends with 955 Its a 1995. That was how I was told by a marina that is how merc. numbers them. If that so it a 1954. Would be interested to know if that is true on all Mercury's
