Prayers
Would really appreciate some prayers for my dad. Went over to mom and dads late yesterday afternoon and my dad was laying on the couch and couldn't get up. My mother said his vertigo had flared up. As I was talking to him I noticed his speech was slurred and his mouth was drawn to one side. Couldn't convince him to go to the ER. At 7 this morning mom called and said he had gotten worse. My worst fear was confirmed this afternoon that he had a stroke. Please keep my family in your prayers it would be greatly appreciated. Hope to get back on the water when things settle down. Sorry to hear Randy. You’ve had it rough lately and the CDC community hurts when you hurt. Prayers have been sent and just know these are the times when God is closest to you. It’s your faith that will get you through the sadness. You may not have happiness right now but you always have joy. Joy comes from knowing whatever this life has for you Jesus died for us and had prepared a place where there is no hurt, sadness or pain. Stay strong and this to shall pass.

My father-in-law had that happen to him and it was a stroke. It took a while and lots of therapy, but he did get over it and recovered and got back to about 90% of what he could do before the stroke. Y'all hang in there.

Dang Randy I really hate to hear that. Been a tough past couple months for you. Keep your head up and things will get better. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers.

Thank you guys for all the prayers. Got to bring him home Friday afternoon. Home health and physical therapy meet us there. He can walk with a walker and his speech is somewhat slurred his balance is off due to him having some dizziness. Doctors said he was very lucky because he waited for 24 hours to go to a the ER. The stroke took place in his brain stem so we are very blessed things aren't any worse. Leudy you are spot my friend about the Great God we serve and the one who loves us and will never leave our side. Thanks again everyone I will keep you updated
