Nice ones Dave....for a change of pace, cut some rubber a little shorter than what you have with about 4 or 5 strands sticking out from the center that are about 1/2 to 3/4 inch longer.
I will do that. I’m also wanting to tie some like jiganomics with just the 2 long pieces. I wonder if there is a preference or better style? Probably like everything else somedays one way the other the next.
I call this pattern the "Automatic";

Thanks Skip. Fun to play with and I'm enjoying this tying. Possibilities are endless! Not as beautiful as yours but I think will catch fish. Sitting here at work and all I'm thinking about is tying jigs and wanting to go fish. :Rofl
LOL my bad Dave - just finished a few for a friend;

Very Nice LedHed!!!
All these ties look great. I tie some rubber too, with different levels of getting it to do what I want. On small jigs I tend to underload (is that a word?) the rubber and maybe add some short fuzzy sections in a v from a hackle feather to bulk up the body some. Just some food for thought, I’ll try to tie one and post a pic. The rubber legs have put lots of fish in the live well for me.
Tonight’s work.

Nice. I keep forgetting to put flash in them. That looks good sure to catch them.
bg - When you're lashing the legs down start with loose wraps right behind the head. Wrap back and gradually add tension. Too much and the legs flair. When you pull thread out - pinch the body and thread. Splay the legs on both sides of the head, wrap forward with medium pressure, back to the head. Figure 8 and whip finish. Every couple of wraps I will tug and pull at the legs to keep them in position. Check the underside of the tail also.
Caught this bad boy, this morning, on a glow in the dark pink Auto;

Yes. It comes like a ribbon and you cut it and it separates. The rubber is round, not square.
search on YouTube for living rubber. There are several videos showing tying with it as well as comparing to silicone
