Very interesting. Kind of like a solid tube. I bet it works fine.

Haha funny I ordered a bunch of rubber for skirts as well. Mine should arrive Monday. Those look nice.
I use rubber skirts all the time. They'll catch fish for sure.
I combine silicone legs with hackle. It works great.
Nice looking jigs. They’ll do fine, no doubt in my mind. I did a white 1/4oz head a long I’ve ago with white rubber skirt and a dark red thread neck collar. One of the best I have ever tied, it just came out better. It was simple and I really didn’t have much faith in it, then I tied it on and dead stick jigged it. Oh My! Have fun with them.
they will work I tie a bunch of them for guys. Like someone else said they are like a solid tube that holds up a lot longer than plastic.
Great job, Ive done this for years and love the durability and catch-ability.
They look great, hope you and your wife are well.
Looking good! I use to make some like that in all sizes nd some that were a combo of skirt material and hackle feathers!

I should be good to go for a little while....:Rofl
That all came from living rubber but there are tons of places that sell skirt material.
Living Rubber Co. - Living Rubber Co.
I just purchased solid colors. That was the best buy.
Hey Dave, you built another room yet to put all your stuff in....:biggrin
50,000 square foot warehouse......:Rofl
actually it all fits in a toolbox and parts bin I showed in another thread.

Nice, neat, easy peasy
Oh My, you will have material for the next 50 years.:cheers2
Only thing I would warn about is using living rubber skirt material and what is will do to a plastic box.
I just use Silicone for mine and they have all kind of pretty colors and sparkles to choose from.
I do not know how they are now because it’s been a while since I bought any and still have more
than I will ever use. Here is the link to them if interested... Fishing Skirts | Buy jig skirting material, bass fishing tackle & more

They have silicone too with all sorts of patterns, etc. I just bought this because they were the Best Buy. 15’ roll was the smallest other than by the pound!
I did get some fine round leg material from Bartel's some time ago. The strip had 60 stands per inch. Now I see they only have the 40 stands per inch; I would sure like to find some 60 strands per inch in chartreuse.
The fine grade of rubber has the 60 strands.
Don’t see it in chartreuse though.
She's doing good Scottie,,,thanks for your asking,,,,,mstill working on right side and now having to buy insurance after job just let her go after 12 years,,,stroke really took it out of her,,,,
My last 4 trips I have use two strands of rubber crossed In a V shape with Kip tail. On the river, glow n the dark chartreuse. In a gravel pit, white. I’ve noticed a difference. May just be the kip bc I usually fish rabbit or marabou this time of year. Will keep tying the V of rubber bc it’s been working so well.

I have prevented the live rubber legs from getting brittle with a dusting of baby powder in the jig box. Keeps them from gumming up too.
Just to show what I was referring to while I’m by the boat
