Don’t forget to get new license.
Bought mine back in Feb on my Birthday. I always do it then since it's easier for me to remember and just carry both until today then dump last years out of the wallet.
I am 65 and now have lifetime but my wife needs to get hers.
Saturday is looking like a good day to get out, thanks for the reminder.
Alan
went to get mine after work today and the DNR site was down, stood there for 15 minutes before they finally told me they couldn't do it.
Get mine at the Boat, Sport & Travel Show each year so I don't forget. I guess 2 more years until I get the lifetime. But will still have to get the hunting license.
Online is the only way to go!
Seniors for life fishin Lic. Got mine 2 weeks ago, last fishin lic. I'll have to buy, Yee Haw......
I think I recall reading "must be able to provide liscense OR digital copy" in a fishing regulations book, although I think it was a Michigan one. Curious if that means you can just login to DNR and show them on a phone if needed? I've never liked carrying the paper liscenses anyway.
Look into a monochrome laser printer by Brother. They are usually under $100 and will last much longer than inkjet printers. I've got a color laser printer I bought 12 years ago that still prints good. I use the after market toner in it and bought enough to last me another 5+ years.
I always renew mine at Wormies in Greendale on Rt 50....They were closed yesterday, so now I have to go back later in the week...
Not sure if you boys have the option but in Missouri we have a dnr app that’ll show your fishing license and hunting tags. You can check a deer on it and everything, and buy more tags if needed right from the app. It’s pretty slick.

Must be nice! Wished we did have the app but this is Indiana. If we use their website to buy a license on line the charge an additional fee of 1.99 for using credit card and another 1.00 for support and maintenance fee as well as the license fee your buying. Glad I have a lifetime hunting and fishing license and now those can’t even be gotten anymore for those that might want them.Quote:

After purchasing a license:
- https://www.in.gov/dnr/fishwild/imag...-highlight.gifCarry a signed license (and applicable federal stamps and HIP number) or the electronic copy on you while fishing, hunting or trapping. Present or show the license upon request from a DNR conservation officer or any other authorized law enforcement officer.
You can carry a copy on your phone or iPad if you don’t want to carry a paper copy.
