Prayers going up.
Just heard. Mans name was junior. Does anyone know where he was from. I fished with a old man named junior around hurricane for the last 4 springs. He drove a stick steer boat and he sat way up front. Looked like a barge when he was going down the lake. Hope this isn't the same junior. I believe he was from Ashland ms. With hurricane being closed this year he might be using wyatts. He would stay a month at hurricane every spring in his camper.
Prayers for all family and friends .

According to WTVA the man's name was Junior Sides.
Praying for them all. God bless.
I found this which appears to be the gentleman in question. I see where 1 daughter, 2 sons, 1 grandchild preceded him. Very sad deal.

Frank Sides Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information
All I got to say is he was a heck man of a crappie fisherman. He fished Sardis his whole life. I had the pleasure to fish beside him a few days over the last few years. Sorry for his family's loss.

I was at Enid that day. Wife backed me down and parked the truck. When she walked down to the ramp it was so rough I couldn’t get to the ramp for her to get in. She just backed back down and I loaded up. If she hadn’t been there I’d found a way to go anyway. Sometimes it just ain’t worth it.
Guys watch the wind. The fish will be there tomorrow.

Found out this week from his nephew that he had a heart attack and fell out of the boat. Cause of death was drowning though.
