I got my limit of 30 this morning at Okatibbee pushing single jigs. They're really dropping the bottom out of the lake. Heres what happens when you leave your boat tied to the bank overnight. Attachment 334238

Wow, that’s a heck of a good catch.
Boat owner has a serious problem.
It took 4 guys on the ground and a Ranger bass boat with a long rope to get the boat floating again. Lol
Nice catch. I seen that boat Sunday evening. Poor guy was walking around it scratching his head.

That's the best catch I have seen from Okatibbee this year. Congrats!! Poor guy with the grounded boat had a lesson learned the hard way.

Congrats on a great mess of fish
Great deal! I took my 8 yr old boy there for a couple hrs this evening & caught 22. I was sure hoping they would let us fish the grass this year! [emoji3064]

Bill Pennington was the first lake manager. He used to leave the water high during the spawn and got chewed out about it several times. Bill is a fisherman and understood that the crappie needed water to spawn. Bill and SteveJ were tournament partners for years.
Great catch

I would take that limit all day every day. Nice. Thanks for posting.
Good report!

That's a fine limit of fish!
You'd think they could post notices or give folks a courtesy warning when they're going to drop water levels that much.
Good catch. If that was my boat it would make me sick.
