Okatibbee
Was working in the area today. Stopped by The COE office at Okatibbee today to renew my boat launch permit. The lake is slick as glass and not a feeshrman around. What in the heck is this world coming too? Lol somebody’s missing out. Attachment 333505Attachment 333506Attachment 333507

I thought about all day does that count? First calm day we have had in a while. I just knew someone would be out there.

It didn’t look like that midday. Wasn’t the worst I’ve seen but enough for me to add a layer. Probably 12 boats at the Collinsville ramp when I launched this morning.

That’s about right. Nice weather there and I’m in Indianapolis where the high this week has been 25.

Not often you see the lake like that but it usually needs a little chop to have better catching. But sure is nice to be out when its like that.

I was tied up that day. I'm sure Collinsville Landing had several trucks. They're dropping the water level pretty fast so Gin Springs landing, in the picture posted, isnt as popular with the shallow water. I've gone several times lately and caught some good messes but if the wind is over 8 or so, I wait till the next day. Lol
