We ate at the restaurant behind the D'arbone Hotel on the water. Good home cooked food, and served alcohol. Too full to eat desert but the fresh baked pies sure looked delicious. We wanted to eat at Sevins but had food cooked at the gathering.
I'm Cajun and although this restaurant is not in Cajun country they serve good Cajun food. Just check their hours before you go.

Sounds good to me Cajun, to bad it's too far for a casual trip over just to eat. I'll have to wait until next gathering.

Thanks for all the replies.
I was with skip at the meal behind the motel. Good food for sure. Called "D'arbonne Diner"
As Skip and D have said, the restaurant behind Darbonne Motel is very good, also there is a restaurant on the main road (before you take a left by McDonald's) on the right just pass McDonald's, that is very good. This may be Sevens, don't remember the name of it.

Sevins is east of Farmerville on Highway 2 a little past Walmart.

It may be. Sounds like the right area. Didn't eat there last year and I think it has changed names a few times but we always had good food and service when we went there.

Ok, after looking at google maps, I don't think it is the huddle house. It was a restaurant in the parking lot of what Google maps is showing as La T-Da Boutique. It was on the far left side of the parking lot.

There was a place called Grannys (I think that was the name) across from the McDonalds, it was a buffet, but I think it is closed now. Mexican place by Brookshires isnt bad.
Grannys is by the Huddle House -- Surprised that Ole Hickory has not been Mentioned Buffet --- Thur - Sat Crawfish
