Y'all need to help a brother out...

LOL... New member, AltonM who lives in Foley, keeps texting me way up here in MS, trying to figure this crappie fishing thing out. He is one of the good guys, but I can't reach him from this far away...
He's gathering up gear at a good pace, and he's reading all of this good stuff here, but he really needs a mentor in Bama...
He's done got crappie fever about as bad as anyone I ever met, and he's never even felt the thump...
Just needs someone who can show him how to get started... Anyone willing to help him figure out the basics?

Ill be glad to help him but I live in North Alabama. I'm 6hrs away from Foley

I could be wrong but I think Tiger1961 lives and fishes in that area. Might get him to PM him.

He’s welcome to go with me on Tensaw if the water ever gets right. I’ll show him what little I know,if he ever feels the thump he will have the fever.Tylenol won’t reduce it either.

ford man is right about the water. It is just now getting back were we could fish but all the flooding that is in North Al will be down here in a few days.

I knew y'all would make this happen... I will tell him to get over here and introduce hisself!

Hey, he won't know any better... Send him out to get some practice! He might catch a cat or two, and he will be happy! LOL

I'm jealous he lives that close to the beach!!! If there are nice crappie in that area I may move there too!! Love it down there

If I lived that close to the beach I would not be concerned with crappie. I would be after those yellow mouths!
