Nice looking bait.
That sure looks like it would work. What lb. mono did you use?
I love the idea!

The ones you gave worked great. Tried it in a knarly tree and still have it!!
It is 12# mono.
Is this a video? Not seeing anything in post, except for a circle with a line thru it, like you would in a video, tried clicking it, but nothing happened.
X2 - just the circle
What happened to the picture? Or is it just me that can't see it?

Not on my phone either. Don't know what is going on.
It showed the day the thread started but has since disappeared.
I saved it and reattached.
Can you see it now?

Yes I can see it again. Thanks
That is a fantastic idea. So it's 12# mono, not 6#?
I had done it the other way before where it hooks under barb. Didn’t like it much. This is a really cool idea. Thanks for posting it.
Yes I can see that! Nice idea for sure!
Thanks CrappieDreamer!

Looks wonderful , but do they work? I can't see on my computer who it wraps around the eye of hook,,, is it tied or just wrapped around?
Thanks CrappieDreamer, for re-posting it. Cool idea, for those who make tyes. But us tube guys, can't do that. And before someone mentions Richard Gene, yes I know he adds one, when using tubes.
They work great!! I field tested for Tommy a few weeks ago. Great idea!!
Funny thing, now when I go back to the top, the image isn’t shown.
Weird

It's 1/8 oz x #6 hook. The weedguard is 12# mono.
I can see my orginal image when I pull it up on my computer but cannot see it on my smart phone. Don't know why. I didn't invent it. I saw it tied on a salt water fly on you-tube and adapted it to the jig.
I think Elmo adds it for Richard Gene!

That used to also be done on deer hair bugs for bass fishing. Worked great, bought a few from a guy that tied em from here in Deland a long time ago. Great application and a real nice tie.
