Nope. Not in my boat, atv, lawnmower, weed eater, chainsaw, or any other small engine I use...... But I do t have a problem putting it in my $60k pickup. Go figure.

Nope, not even in my truck.
CNG bifuel truck anyways.
I run it,i burn it so fast i dont think it matters[emoji4]run it in everything and have never had a problem

I do just like Blueball run it in everything ......Have never had a problem. On the boat I use Marine Stabil.....and I do have a water separator filter that I change yearly. All my fuel lines are rated for ethanol. My weed eater and chain saw I get the two cycle oil that has fuel stabilizer in it. My John Deere lawnmower the fuel never gets old I run it thru pretty fast. Been running it in this stuff Ever since ethanol gas hit MS. Use it in both my vehicles too.
No, I do not use it.

No problem with ethanol fuel as long as you use a fuel stabilizer. In my opinion, ethanol free fuel gives you a warm fuzzy feeling. The problem with any fuel today is that the shelf life is not very long. Without some sort of fuel stabilizer, you are asking for trouble after about 60 days. As long as you use it quickly, no problems. Haven’t you watched an episode of Crappie Masters TV? It’s a 30 minute long ethanol commercial.

The constant talk on Crappie Masters is the reason I am asking who uses E 10. I have been to a couple of weigh ins and they give extra money to the winner of they use E 20.

How do you know the non ethanol gas coming out of the pump is non ethanol gas? Do you know and trust the guy that owns the gas station? Can you be certain that the guy who drove the tanker put the right hose in the right tank? I burn what's convenient, sometimes non ethanol, but I ALWAYS put Ethanol Stabil or Marine Stabil in my tank. I don't know which it's called. There's one station north of the town I live in that has nothing but 100% gas, in every grade. When I have time, that's where I buy gas, but I don't always have time.
I use e-10. Talked to a gas man that said less than 10 year old stuff would have no problem with e10. He also said he hoped folks kept believing e10 was bad because they made more per gallon on non ethanol.

Whatever’s convenient and I’ve never had gas be the problem of any motor issues.
Nope. Have a local independent place that carries 92 non ethanol. All I run in any small engine.

I've used it in my previous boat & current boat ... 1984 70HP Yamaha - 1999 90HP Mercury ... no "ethanol" related problems in either case. I ran nothing but gas in the Yammy, but the Merc has had both Stabil & Seafoam in it's gas (at one time or the other, and sometimes both at the same time ... just not by me, but the previous owner). The boat/Merc is sitting in a storage building with a full tank of gas & Seafoam added, and has been there since Nov. and won't likely be in the water for another month or so ... and I fully expect it to crank up as usual, when it is finally on the water, and blow a bit more smoke than normal on the first startup, but then go back to it's normal self for the remainder of the time I use it this year.
Whatever is convenient- Never hurt my yamaha 30hp 3 cylinder 2 stroke. I’ve been thru several fuel lines in the last 15 years but nowadays i drain the line if its gonna set up for a couple months and this new blue marpac fuel line is more pliable.
I think the key is don't let it sit in you tank. I run non-ethanol when I can but you can't get it just anywhere. If you know you won't be on the water for a while run all the gas out of your system. Have I had issues with ethanol? Yes I have but only when left in the carbs/injectors for longer than I wanted. Run non-ethanol when you can but running ethanol will not be the end of the world.
No ethanol in boat, yard equipment or other small engines. I buy from the bulk dealer's store.
No ethanol in boat ,4 wheeler or mower .
Ethanol from corn is insane. The people who farm next to my farm are now growing dry land corn in what amounts to a desert. All it takes is lots of herbicides, insecticides, and fertilizer to make the stuff grow anywhere I guess. It bugs me as you can tell :-)
Does Ethanol Make Economic and Environmental Sense? | Americas Quarterly
American should be oppose to the current policies on ethanol regardless of it's effect on engines. Perhaps the people that don't use it have taken the high ground :-)
That said I suspect whatever it's negative effect on engines may be those effects do not reduce engine life below normal obsolescence. Since water mixes with alcohol and not gas it probably is good for the fuel system in some cases offsetting whatever negatives there may be.
I use it in everything and only think about it when I'm buying it which again causes me old man apoplexity for the reasons mentioned above.
I don't use ethanol in any small engine. But the man that owned my boat before me did. I know this because i was having problems with my boat starving for fuel. Took my fuel line off of my tank and tried to run varsol through the line. It come out as a slow stream. Nothing like what i was putting into it. Pulled off the primer bulb and looked through the hose and it had what appeared another hose inside it. It was tan in color and like a lining on the inside of that hose. Bulb would barely let anything through. Replace all the fuel lines, fuel filter, fuel bowl and now she's running right.

I had $500.00 worth of problems with an outboard about 8 years ago. It had set up 2 months over the winter. I went to non ethanol and added Sea Foam and
have had no problems. I use the non ethanol in all my small engines. Had to put carb kits in the outboard. Not only was it gummed up but there was a lot of
corrosion present.
I run it in both my boats, two and four stroke, but put in marine stabil everytime I fuel up. I run the premix fuel in my small engine's (chainsaw and weedeater)
No Ethanol in my boat, mowers or weed eaters. Most boat mechanics will tell you they love ethanol because it keeps them employed. America is the only country dumb enough to take their number one food crop and make fuel out of it. Go figure
That’s not the whole story. I own a lawn maintenance company and we use approximately 25 gallons of ethanol mixed fuel per week in string trimmers and blowers. We NEVER have fuel related issues. Bottom line is no matter what fuel you choose to use, if it sits up, you are absolutely going to have fuel issues. Even non ethanol fuel will go bad in a couple of months and lose its kick. The biggest issue with ethanol fuel is the gum, varnish and moisture that builds up as it ages. Use a quality fuel stabilizer and wash your hands forever with fuel troubles.

I am running a 99 Yamaha that has only run non ethanol/quicksilver. Other than maintaining it, no repairs made .

My 2016 Suzuki 140 Owners Manual calls for 87 octane ethanol fuel as long as it is no more than 10 % ethanol. I still put Stabil Ethanol Treatment in mine. I've honestly never seen any difference in performance when I was running ethanol or non-ethanol fuel.
My new Excel Bay Pro 220 will have a Suzuki 200SS on it. I know it calls for 91 octane but no idea on ethanol or not.
My current boat belongs to me and will be for sale as soon as I go to Mountain View, AR to pick up my Pro Staff boat in a month or so. Technically I'm using their boat for the next year.
I ran Yamaha outboards from 1984 to 2015 when I bought my first Suzuki. I will never own another brand of outboard unless somebody pays me to run another brand. MY money will be spent on Suzuki.
I only run ethanol-free gas in my 1986 Evinrude 150 with marine Sta-bil added every time I add fuel. I have only used the boat 2-4 times per year because I work out of state a lot. It always starts and runs great.
Ethanol free in all small motors . Only time I ever had an issue with a boat motor was mixing gas with cheap Walmart oil .
E-10 in everything, boat, car, lawn equipment. Only exception is my Polaris 570 4 wheeler. They recommend non ethanol. Also, in reply to eagle 1's comment. I also used walmart oil in several boats( I have owned 13 with mercs, johnsons, evenrudes and yamahas. ) and it has the same specs as the rest. It is not made by walmart. Some oil companies market off brands. Some convenience stores use different brands of gasoline, depending on best deal for them, with or without ethanol.
I really believe if you're running you boat or any other small engine on a daily basis or even a weekly basis like M R Dux and others, ethanol is not a bad thing.
But most of us don't get to take the boat out 2 or 3 times a week. Therein lies the problem with ethanol as far as I'm concerned. Any kind of down time allows the impurities to turn into varnish and coat everything. So my only solution is to either run non ethanol or fish more often. By the way I'm in favor of option 2.

That’s a great idea Pithon.
“Honey, I HAVE to go fishing, I put ethanol gas in the boat. You know that stuff will
mess up my motor if I don’t go.”
If you use your boat alot, you’re good to go. IF you don’t use it often, make Dang sure you park the boat with a slap full tank of gas. 2 years in a row, I didn’t. Tank drain, Carb rebuild 2 years in a row teaches you a lesson. Out if 15 gallons in my tank last year, 8 was water. Used real gas this year, had bout 3/4 tank and no water in my fuel/water seperator when I ran in the other day for 30 minutes in the yard. Small engines heck no. Nothing but real gas in them
I run non ethanol in my older early 90's OMC motors for two reasons, one that's what they were designed to run on and two the fuel tanks are pre ethanol era. I run ethanol in my truck, four wheeler, small engines and anything modern. I have a small 2.5 Suzuki I bought last year and the owners manual recommends non ethanol 92 octane or higher, but states you can use ethanol gas, so I do. I agree with others, gas sitting for long periods without a stabilizer additive is probably the biggest enemy. I had an 08 Yamaha 40 and ran nothing but ethanol thru it for more than 5 years with 0 problems.
I'm old enough to remember lead in gas and varnish was a problem back then.

Being a highly cynical person I see some corporatist propaganda in the above article. In this day and age it is hard to see where the government stops and corporations start. In any case letting fuel sit in a vehicle has always been a bad idea. I have always used E-10 in my lawn mower etc. without problems but that is just luck I suspect. That said I don't see any good alternatives. Unless you can completely drain the entire fuel system not just the fuel tank you are at risk of clogged jets and other problems.
