Re rigged
Lol! You nailed it with the pictures! When I get done fishing and get home it is "grab all rods in one sweep", sort them out in the garage and re-rig for the next hunt!
Brian
Haven’t had much trouble with em tangling while n transit ! I usually have 8-16 rods laid on top of each other on the deck ! But I do lay them longest to shortest or vise versa seams to work better! Mixing sizes up makes a mess
biggest mess is when a green trout gets hooked on the outside rod and has to cross over then back of all the other lines, major crows nest, cut off jigs and remove massive tangle with same knife ,then re-tie :bash
Lee when I long line I usually pull double rigs, the bottom jig I hook in the hook keeper on the rod, the second one I use a ponytail holder and secure it with it and wrap my line, no mess when I get home.

Watch’s bad is you hang a huge skipjack. The he screws everything up . Or you about slip and fall on a half full sundrop bottle!
IT's worth all that trouble and then some! Love to long line.
Agree with you Bob!
