11 15/16 inch fish are not worth the $168 or close to that per fish. I try to only keep the 12 1/2 or bigger so GW doesn't even think about writing a ticket..
I would like to lay a couple of those on my golden rule.
Not sure where you found 50 degree water yesterday but I sure wish I could have found it. We only managed 4 keepers from 12 noon- 4:30 and the water was 45.3 where we was fishing. Maybe an area with slightly warmer water was the ticket.

We caught around 30 or so. We were on the north side not around all the boats lol. Started there then left bc it was all shorts. Then found a big school or area with some bigger fish. For some reason we had good bites in 14.9 ft of water 6 1/2 to 7 1/2 ft deep.
I don’t have a golden rule but mine were right there like that with my measurement and I agree. Crappie fishing at my rate probably costs me that much per fish anyway. No reason to add insult to injury. Lol. Glad y’all found them. I think I was just to stubborn to move out and look elsewhere.

About 50 boats out there today. 100 percent pushing. Wish half of those folks would put 1 stake bed in there each time they go only takes 5 minutes each. Gotta give back a little folks for our grandkids to enjoy the future. These reservoirs needs it. Just left Enid and saw what the Corp did. Good job but at least stake down what you drug out there.
