Anybody seen josh out on the lake?
I haven't, but I was told that he doesn't want me knowing where "his spots" are, so he might be a little difficult to find. Kind of like Waldo. Attachment 328934

Talk to us, Josh.
First time on keystone nice lake..we didnt see josh or very many crappie as far as that goes. I'm sure it will produce some good fish once a guy learns it
Hes pretty active on his facebook and yes keystone is solid
Went last week, was catching them 6-7 ft deep in 9FOW. Also 13-15 deep in 18-20FOW. So no clear pattern. Anyone else fishing Keystone? Bunch of dinks and 3-4 good ones by the way.
I am seeing scattered fish everyplace I fish. Its that time of year, they are on the move. I am catching fish from 2 foot deep to 18 feet deep doesn't matter if its 4 feet of water to 40 feet of water.
Tough bite for me today. Sized down to little hair jigs to get em to bite but never felt a tic all day. They just lipped the jig and sat there until I lifted my rod. What fish I saw were mostly on the move- Runners, Walkers and Spooks. Bluebird days are slow half the time. Water temps at 58-65. Mouths of coves and cuts held most of the fish.
Wow the dead sea warmed up quick. Thanks for the update Ciller. Sounds like I missed my opportunity to fish the pre spawn pig fest this year at Keystone.
Caught 30 fish last friday. Only 5 keepers(hawgs/donkeys) the females were about to bust. 4 foot deep in 7 FOW. Saw people throwing bobbers & jigs with no luck. Gonns try this Friday as well. Anyone else have info on Keystone?
Keystone park. South of pier 51.
Need suggestions for good bank fishing with my 9 yr. old son. Any help?
Was thinking about going out in the evenings after work. Is the bite good after dark I’ve never tried it outside the spawn. Thanks

Glad to see people are posting on the Keystone page. Caught a few this morning on minnows in 5 to 6' FOW. These were caught around the Pier 51 area.Attachment 357889Attachment 357889

Way to go on those black crappie! Wish I could find some of those fighters.
It's been a good summer. Caught a few fish looking forward to the fall crappie season!!! The water temp was 67 today and the lake has fallen fast. Attachment 357910

You’ve got those slicks surrounded Stone!
Thanks, all those came from the Arkansas River below the dam. We had the most success with yellow grasshoppers and cut shad.
Fished my boat docks friday the 25th, for about 4 hours, kept 12 nice ones. Fish on keystone are on dock brush thick already.
Thanks for the report. Congrats on the catch!!!
That’s great news! Thanks for sharing. How deep was the water?
Anwhere from 15' to 25', they're bulking up for winter and were biting HARD.
Anybody got a report on Keystone?? Last Sat caught a big spoon bill on accident while striper fishing below the dam. WOW what a fight that's the first one I had ever caught and he was successfully released so that made it even better. It will be interesting to see what all this rain is going to do to the fishing. I guess we will see in the morning. Have a great Friday guys! Attachment 359325
That’s a huge fish! Bet it took you a looking time to land in that current. I got out last week and caught a few. I fished an area that had more blues and stripers than crappie and the target fish were suspending at 18-20’- hate fishing that deep. This one was fun on a little pink jig and 10 lb mono. 10.4 lbs.
That’s a big spoonie!
Nice fish Killer!

Any luck fishing from the bank yet? I know the lakes have been up a little but bank fishing is the only option my son and I have.
