Friday I had foot surgery where a plate and handful of screws reconstructed the top of my foot after a tree stand accident...well the doctor says I absolutely no weight bearing for 6 to 8 weeks, so going to put a damper on early season fishing!:banghead:banghead
Dang man, sorry for you injury. 6-8 weeks isn’t too bad. You should be back in commission by the time fishing is getting good. Listen to the docs and get healed up

Been trying to figure out how to get him in the boat to spider rig below Warsaw dam. He's too big now to carry, used to be able to do so, but he grew up. I'll have a solution when the weather cooperates.

Apparently the first surgery wasn't right. Now I have to have a second corrective surgery to fix what the first doctor did wrong, 6 more weeks recovery.:banghead
Dang that is ridiculous, sorry to hear that, sure hope they get it right next time. Bad deal for sure. I'm an auto mechanic and if I screw up it comes out of my pocket, doctor screws up they just send another bill. Take care
