Logan Martin Trip
Hello. Just giving an update on our trip this past Friday. Me and my buddy, Robert set out first time on Logan Martin.
Conditions:
Wind: Calm during the morning, then later in the afternoon SE 8 mph.
FOGGY!!
48 degrees when we started out at 7:30am, then the high when we left was about 58 degrees.
Pressure was 29.4 in all day pretty much - steady.
Fish were full of eggs.
Started out dock shooting with 4lb line, 1/32 oz chartreuse jig head teamed up with Bobby Garland Baby Shad Licorice/Chartreuse color.
We tight lined minnows as well, but only 1 fish hit the minnow rig.
Ended up fishing in a cove and the bite was on! Found fish scattered all over the cove about 4ft-5ft deep in 12 ft of water.
Bobber and jig is what caught most of the fish. When they stopped hitting the Licorice/Chartreuse color, they wanted the Pearl.

Thanks guys! I appreciate that. Sorry I haven't responded. Work has me bogged down ... hopefully, we will be going back after this rain moves out. I've never been to Logan. Can't believe I missed out on this little gem. I moved so I'm only 30 minutes away down 280 and jump on 78. I usually go to Guntersville which is almost 2 hours, but I have to find someone to go with. But I think I found a new home :)
If we do go Thursday, I'll keep ya posted!
God bless
