Dunno....never heard of them
Thanks
Only two of their products are available now. Both are in the vertical jigging category. Their site says others are coming soon. www.thumpcitycrappierods.com - Home
I'll take full responsibility for that!
I started working on designing these rods when I cam back from working in Puerto Rico in May. Things are going better than i expected and will have more models than what I have listed. We're doin an extensive amount of test on other models and they are finally worked out. Anyone can design a rod with programs, but I decided not to put one on the market until it was 100% perfected!
Interesting :fish
I’d be happy to extensively test one out for you [emoji6]

What material are they made out off. IM6,IM8?
SK did a review on the 10 footer. After seeing the video I will be getting one. Here is a link to that video.

I am using a TC10 now, and it's doing great... As stated above, very sensitive, and you could pry a hubcap off with it, or at least it feels like that when you catch one! Very light too... I need the 12 foot version soon...
SK said he would be reviewing more rods later. I asked if he had the 8' yet soon he said. I'm also interested in these especially the 8' and 7'6".
I'm hoping to see a review on these and more information on them. I haven't seen a good picture. I'm assuming 2 piece rod. Any details would be great. Thanks
There are several reviews on Facebook and it shows a 2 pc in the beginning of SK's video. The 8' is 4.4 oz and 10' is 4.9 oz
Thanks for the information. :ThumbsUp
They look great, good luck on this adventure!
I just ordered my Thump City crappie rod.
I bet you will be well pleased...
We will see how it does. SK’s video of it in actual use is what sold me.
I fish from a kayak and mainly cast but I do some jigging and a little trolling. Do you think the 8' casting/jigging rod would be ok or would waiting for the 7'6" casting rod be a better match for the way I fish?
I have never been on a kayak but a friend of mine has a kayak and I asked him which one would be better. He said that he has used both an 8 footer and a 7’6 in his kayak. He told me that the 7’6 was better.
Yeah it gets cumbersome that long a rod in kayak but mainly I think since I mostly cast waiting for the true casting rod would be better than the jigging rod.
What's the diff? I get confused about the terms used for rods: what is the difference between casting - jigging - trolling?
I know the jigging rod doesn’t have the large first guide. All the guides are small. This wouldn’t be ideal when casting. Then between jigging and trolling maybe the stiffness of the rod? :dono Not entirely sure myself.
I like large guides all the way down......nuttin mo frustrating than trying to fish early in morning, and having ur line stick to the rod

After a few trips with the new rod, I am solidly recommending it... The sensitivity and backbone are second to none!
Banged out another box of good fish today with the new rod... Sucker is tough enough!

Did you get the 10’ or the 8’
That's the 10.. I am waiting on a 12...
Do they float?
I'm gonna say yes. The rod weighs less than five ounces, and has cork on the handle... Will tell you as soon as I get back on the water...
Does anyone have the 8’ rod yet? I’ve contacted them twice with no reply about it. Being a casting/jigging rod I’m assuming the guides are larger then the 10’ jigging rod. The only pics I’ve seen aren’t good and detailed and look the same as the 10’ rod. I was hoping to be able to cast it, jig it and slip float fish with this rod but have questions about rod and guides.
Oh well never heard from them but I pulled the trigger and bought the 8’ rod. Hope it does what I’m looking for. We shall see.
Here is the link to another review on the Thump City 10 foot rods. And the video also has a review on some decently priced quality reels and other equipment as well.

Was hoping to test/review the 8' this weekend but it never showed. USPS is late on the delivery. Should come today and hopefully weather permitting I use this coming weekend.
