to clean up there property
They use one to clean up the shoreline of the small lake I live on. It seems to do a pretty good job. Personally I’ve never used one

looks like it will get the job done
A guy used one to clear my acre lot for my new house
It ate trees 4-6” diameter & slung widow makers everywhere

We've got 2 customers who use a drum cutter that mounts on a skid steer. The attachment that you provided a link to, is a tree cutting bush hog. The drum cutters are 3-4 times faster and do a much better job at mulching the material. You could hire someone with the drum cutter like I'm talking about and they'd be cheaper than you renting a machine and doing it yourself just from difference in speed. If one of them comes by in the next few days I'll ask them what their hourly rate is. I think it's $150 an hour but I may be wrong. I know one of them has told me how much land they can clear in an hour, if the trees are fairly small and I was amazed at how much they could do in an hours time. I don't remember how much land per hour, but I know it was more than 1 acre per hour.
renting one first
try and see if it works well
oh CRAP........ 2000 A WEEK TO RENT
LOL told you so.
That's because it is a "High-Flow" machine. If a hose were to burst or a fitting break loose the pump would evacuate the system faster than you could shut it down leading to an expensive pump rebuild. Bobcat makes a High-Flow with a deforester drum. Clears over an acre an hour with a good operator. Cab has bullet proof glass. Retails for a little over 100K. A man of your means and tight schedule would probably be better off hiring out.
lol at 1200 a day to hire out 6 months a year it needs cutting that adds up in a hurry
Put you some goats on it! :Rofl They will get er done! Then sell the goats! Lol
Bought six sets of goats. Dawgs and coyotes killed ery one of them. With donkeys on there. Plus they got out all the time nice thought tho
I have used this setup many times for cutting pasture grass and small trails in the woods. As mentioned above it will cut small saplings no problem, however it is not a mulcher or grinder, it’s not gonna grind up trees and roots

you have no conception of what im dealing with brad i have very wet areas a 4 wheel drive tracter will not even think about going. in 20 years i have hade my tracter pulled out with bulldoziers and track hoes six times and keep having to hire excavaters to clean up ive tried goats bat wings and all
The drum mulches work wonders. I turned an eye sore into one of the prettiest places in town with one of those things.

That does sound like a mess. Don't let my dad come help you, he'd bury the tractor! He's got experience doing that. LOL
Have you thought about chemicals to kill the undesirable vegetation then planting some native marsh type grasses and plants that would spread? Those would be pretty low maintenance. You might even qualify for some sort of cost share at the NRCS office for "wetland" protection.
aight 25 g closer to track loader and cutter. tractor gone
Attachment 327609
so this is the new tractor
That ought to get er done!
Ooooo that’s nice!
Lee.....after you run over everything.....if you go back over it backwards and tilt the front of the cutter down just a little and go slow....it will mulch it.

Just think how many brushpiles you can dump in the lake.
