I plan on Fri afternoon to sunday afternoon.

I will not be there. I have my priorities all wrong!
Too much work and work related travel.
Even the Turkeys are pretty safe.
Send pics.

Don't feel bad, Titleman. Looks like I will be studying all weekend. I may be able to slip down there sat or sun for the day...or I might head east and track down ol' Rusty...

Hah...I didn't think about that. But, that's all in the past...we are looking to the future slab bite.:D And for some reason, my mind is distracted by crappie when I'm forced to open a book...Quote:

All the board fish are 14" to 16.5" and the fish on the rod are all from 10" to up to near 14".
Ill be there with wife @ son. fishin with Darrel on thursday @ jerry on friday. will stay till about 1 pm sat. have to go on a cruse sunday.
Gooch, how late friday night is to late to check in? Was asked today to delay my vacation next week (short handed but they did offer to pay me back any expenses that I'm out of Hmmm). But can make it friday night or sat. morning till sunday afternoon. Might bring the better half if she would quit watching the weather forecast.
TT
Where and when is the camp this year? I would like my son, who lives in Conway, Ar., to go and bring his tent and get some "crappie fever" rubbed off on him. He is a green carp man and needs some "special guidance". HOOKER
I hate to be a sissy, but the forecast is not improving at all the days I planned to attend. My Dad is not in the best of health and I ain't staying in a tent during the rain for two days with him.
You left me out! His Son and law will also be attending at those times!Quote:

Geez, weekend weather forecast is getting crappie'r every time I check it
This is what makes guys like MinnowMan want to NEVER post pictures again! HOLY COW!!! I sure hope I can even half-way match that type of production by the end of April, If I do, you'll be the first to know! GREAT mess of fish you got there! MM :)Quote:

I am going to stay in my Landcruiser. I have a air matress and a ceramic heater so it shouldnt be to bad for me.
You can call the Lakeside motel at 870-398-5304 and see if they have any rooms.
Change of plans, will get there early Saturday morning and stay at lakeside motel instead of tent. Looks like it'll be to cold and rainy for camping Friday night.
I'm gonna be in a pop up camper. I will have my dad with me.
I will be in a tent sat night
Took Al Christian out again the other day in the hurricane-force winds. We still managed to land 6 crappie. I told him about this guy I know in med school who went to ASU and is a crappie fanatic named Chris Brown. He remembered you and said something to the effect that you were a VERY talented, gifted individual with all the potential of the world in front of you, our something like that. Damn, I just thought you were an above-average (on some days) crappie fisherman like me, LOL. Hang in there brother and be true to thine on self and for what's right. LATER.Quote:

I sure wish I could come. Maybe after I get my back fixed I can come to the fall camp. The soonest the doctor could get me into surgery is 2 weeks from today. So keep posting pictures of those slabs.
For those of us watching the weather forecast closely right now, I'll share my site of preference, most detailed wind and precipitation info I've found, wish it showed barometric pressure:
Aviation Forecast
You joined Crappie.com in October of 06 and you waited till now to share this website with us? I'm going to have to check it out for a week or two, but right now I think its the sweetest fishing weather site I have seen. Like you said all its missing is the barrometer. Thanks a million for sharing. I am going to forward the link to all my hunting and fishin buddys.Quote:
