I don't know jack about that lake:D. I'm planning to put in at least 20 days on it this year since I've moved south. Let me know if you find the bridge. Should hold some big slabs.

Now that I have the Aqua-view cam, maybe I can use the right "stuff" when I see fish and don't know which type they are. I'm planning to fish this one a lot more this year. Alder and Kapowsin are going to be my 2 primary targets for learning new water that should hold a bunch of fish from the way they look.
i'm scared of kapowsin, to many stumps and tweakers :(
If it means catching fish I'm not scared of stumps or tweakers :DQuote:

You guys ever fish Chambers lake in Lacey? I lived on the lake back in 86 and it was the best bass fishing around that area at the time. There are two lakes, I used to live on the smaller one and fishing especially for blue gill was great. Smitty 58D
i've heard a lot of good things about chambers, but i've never tried it out. it's on my list of places to fish this year.......what did you find works best for em out there?
Well back in 86 we used spinner baits perty much every where, but worms pitched up into the reeds worked pretty good to. For Bluegills just a plain nightcrawler would catch a mess but if you wanted the bigger ones I would always use a fly on my spinning rod with a bobber about 3' up so I could cast it out. Hope this helps. Smitty 58D
that's some good info, thanks :D
I won.
are you serious???
it was kind of wierd there were only four boats and 6 anglers only 5 bass caught only 4 were big enough. two were mine and two were anouther angler's. I managed 5 pounds even with my to fish a largemouth and a smallmouth the smallmouth was 2lb 9oz. and was the big fish the other two were both smallmouths and the combined total was just over 3 pounds. it was fun but a lot of work I caught the LM in the first 45min. and the SM in the last 45min.... no pics ant the moment my camera went on the blits and the other digi could not be located.....there was a disposable camera and pics were taken. I won a total of $74.38 for my winings after gas and camping and entry few that left me with $8.38 profit:D it was a really hard lake to fish the next one is on tapps....
awesome man, nice job!
great job man!!! seems like kind of a lame turnout.....what did ya get them on?
it is a small club but still only half were able to make it out. the fist one was on a white spinnerbait in 3 feet of water and the smallie was on a 3/8oz skinny bear jig with a grub trailer in about 6ft... water temps ranged from 49 to 52. cloudy and windy the whole time but some how i still managed to burn my face....
football head? i've gotta try those football head and finesse jigs this year on lake washington.
no it was not the football head even though thoes ar the ones i usually use I was actually fishing for Largemouth at the time I got that smallmouth.
better lucky then good anytime :D
so do ya think it's a lake worth trying out again?
it could be but not for at LEAST another month but I think that it could have the posobilty of being a good bass lake... I marked three schools of crappie......
Good job Koke http://www.websmileys.com/sm/happy/604.gif. Placing in the money is always a good place to be. http://www.websmileys.com/sm/happy/060.gif
Did you see what the water temps where down there? I'm heading to a lake in that area next Saturday. Just wondering if it would be worth it or if I should just try another lake that's only 9' deep.
thanks slab...It feels good to be a winner....
The temps ranged from 49 to 51..... I would wait and hit another body of water. To do try it just not right now.....
heading to a lake in that area I believe that there are 3 lakes in that area...hmmmm only 9 feet deep..........
hey slab we are looking for more members........
I guess I should say "in that general area" http://www.websmileys.com/sm/happy/588.gif. Kinda of a zipperlip lake. Only has trout listed but it holds some nice largemouths that like to eat trout lol.
51 is not to bad. I thought it would be cooler than that. This weeks weather should push them up better or at least get them stacked up on the points on most lakes. Are you going to get some time to fish week? We should see some big girls up shallow for sure.
Is there a website for the club? How do I go about getting some more info?
Thanks CK. Heck, I live less than 5 mins from the Round Table they meet at lol.
yeah man come over and meet us, they are a bunch of hicks but man they are fun.
