New Years day and last Sunday, I went to Norman just to try and find some water clarity. Chased hybrids both times. Both trips were almost identical. Both trips I brought 2 home 22-23" fish along with 17-18" fish. They would bite early and then shut it down.
Fish Wylie today, Big Allison has color but not bad. Caught plenty of perch on jigging spoons. Kept about 20. Attachment 326862Attachment 326863

Whacked again today, caught about 75 and kept 20. The cooler picture actually had 25, so I cleaned 45 this afternoon. All caught on spoons. Think I’m gonna give em a break till next week.
Going to wateree tomorrow and give it a try.Putting in a few miles from Clearwater.Hope water is a lil clearer than been at.

Well made it to river but should have just came back home.Its still muddy.Marked alot of fish but only caught 7 clam thingys.

Should have come on over and got these blue attack minnows I've been trying to give away. I got about 6 dozen highly qualified die hard minnows left after 16 days of boot camp swimming in circles. 2 dozen died of hypothermia a couple of days ago frozen to the ice on top of cooler when bubbler stopped working during the night! Sad but they got a good funeral with top honors.
