This is what I see.
Dec 21 & Jan 7 threads are still there and active, as is your post about the COE changing their report format. Most older threads have been "moved" except for a few odds/ends threads.
You really don't have to delete/move the threads .... just close them. They'll eventually work their way off the 1st page, as new threads are created.
You dont really have to delete, move , or even close....they will eventually run off the page on their own. And if you want to see what it looks like as a regular member just log out....then go back to Crappie.com without logging in.
Please don't delete anything. When you delete something that has good content, you will be removing it from the search engines too. So my recommendation would be to not delete it at all. Only stuff that's truly garbage, like bad posts, or personal attacks, should be deleted, and even then they should only be "soft deleted". I believe only Super Mods can "hard delete" though anyway. OK, so like the guys say, just close the threads and let them roll down the page. New posts will push them down the page over time, and since they're closed, they will not pop back up top.
Reason for trying to delete them, was because of a complaint from a member, who usually doesn't post to the board. The person didn't like that the Shenango Update Reports were just one at a time, instead of posting all of them into one report page. But then when I would add, you would have to scroll down in one post, to see the new one.
Chaunc, would you like to see it that way, in just one post, where they all get posted? I'm not against people giving ideas, but not demanding it.
No sense in posting them every day when no one is responding to them. They’re not helping keep the board active, Keith. We just have to accept that our state doesn’t have many members that care about posting on the board. I’d really like to know how many active members we have from Pennsylvania.
Ken, you and I both.
Yeah, if you look at the number of "views" on those report threads, you'll see that quite a few people are at least looking at them ... whether they're posting anything about them, or not. ...
Living in center of state not many lakes to fish for crappie. This 75 year old has 1/1/2 hour drive to good lakes that means 4 or 5 trips year
No offense but you’ve been a member here four years with only 19 posts and you think it’s a shame the board doesn’t get more action. 5 posts a year isn’t helping keep it active. We can’t keep it active unless we get more support from the guys that look but don’t contribute. Please help us out here. This is a plea to all the lurkers here. I’ve asked Slab to put a contest here last year to help get some traffic going on the board and only four guys posted. It was up for at least a month. Not much of a contest. Doesn’t matter what part of the state you fish, we’d like to know what and how and where you’re catching your crappies. Share about your lake and what technique is working for you. Pictures are appreciated but not necessary. Would like to get a camp / get together here in Pa like they do in the southern states but can’t do it without better participation from our Pa members. There’s some really good fish to be caught up north in May and June. Let’s get this state board on the move. We’ve got great members from Pa too. Would like to see another member from up here get the man of the year award in the future. I’m the only one from up north that has been chosen in the ten years it’s been given out.

Pymatuning crappies last spring.
I don't think many people would be interested how I drown minnies under a bobber
Try us and see. Interested to know what lakes you enjoy fishing in your area of the state. The type of lake you fish and what kind of crappies or whatever you’re catching or not catching. If the fishing is tough, maybe we can help you figure out how to put more in the cooler. Might even come fish that lake with you. I’ve made some good friends from this website and hope to make some closer to home.
