Who’s fishing where this weekend? I think I’m going to get out some but only if this wind lays down. Kinda tough out there right now, blowing around what little hair I have left. So tell me.......

Going to give Dexter a try in the morning. Haven't fished it or Woody yet this year.
I am going. Thinking south end of the Big O. Went to Kenansville today, never been on it before. Caught a few, not very good. Lots of hydrilla, it looked good.
I be working [emoji35]

Down here in Oak Hill. Probably run down to Haulover in morning since wind predictions are lower. Been doing real good on Sand Trout, Whoring and Mangrove snapper. Cleaned 15 yesterday and 27 today.

Sounds good. Not feeling too adventurous so I won’t go far if I go at all. Christmas morning wasn’t what it could have been and I still have the need of a thump or two. Here’s hoping that you do well when you go, and sorry the boss got you first Tater.
Either Astor or Lake Yale. Haven't decided yet
Never fished Yale. Do any good there?
Lol I am the boss

Well, I said I was going to go somewhere close and I did. Both Saturday and Sunday. Monroe Saturday and beresford Sunday. Bombed on Monroe, 8 fish total and 3 would have kept. They came from the river after a lackluster performance on the main lake. You could say that I was less than enthused. Didn’t set the alarm so I got out late. Again. Made my way to white hair an headed south. Wasn’t sure if the ramp at French ave would let me launch my big ol boat so I went to concrete. Got to the lake and set up 8 rods, 2 less than usual. The 1/8 Roadrunners got a bit of play today on short lines compared to the 1/16 I usually run. Foggy early and the darker baits did better and with the sun came the time for brighter colors. Much better day than yesterday. Fished 8 til 12 and boated just over 30 and had 13 solid fish over 11 1/2 in the box when I left. Family friends wound up with all the fish and a large smile when I left. A couple over 13 was the highlight of the morning and some really tried hard to remove the rods from the holders. Hope y’all had a good weekend and that you get out soon if you didn’’t. Happy New Year.....Skeet
Sweet comeback Tim, that's the way = stay motivated for success.:ThumbsUp

Skeetbum we have done well there in the past but went once this month and they hadn't started yet. We fish the lilly pads on the north end by the boat ramp & fish the deeper water18 ft when the sun gets up. Ended up going to Astor and only caught a couple specks & 2 bass
Thanks Tim, I've been wondering about Monroe....
Don’t take that as Monroe isn’t working. It was just an off day. The app on my phone rated the days activity at 13/100. I’ve blown those rating out on some days but they held true Saturday. Sunday was rated at 23/100 but was much more productive.
I have the fishing points free app on my phone. If I wasn’t so frugal ( said CHEAP ) I would pay the little bit for the extra things they offer.
Thinkin bout jigging in the river in the AM..been doing pretty good lemme know if anyone wants to team up.
