Beautiful afternoon yesterday on Pomme de Terre

Had a great afternoon of fishing yesterday (12/18) with my old friend Casey, out on Pomme de Terre (Pittsburgh Landing). We showed up at the ramp around 1:30, and started working the bushpiles in 15-17 FOW. I found several fish using jigs, but I finally broke down and got the minnows out. We had equally good success with live bait. Most all of the fish that we caught were 11 to 13 foot deep. Nothing set any size records but they were all consistently 9.5" to 11". I think we ended up with 11 after it was all said and done for the "Clean'em Later Well".

She's been fishing with me for 15 years now this coming January. It doesn't really matter what we're doing, as long as she can be right by my side.

I tried getting our dog out fishing with me, but he's a little too.....high strung.

Seems every time I throw a bait he thinks we're playing a game and it's all he can do to not dive in after it.
