Woke up to those magic words..... Wind advisory. I figured with all the mud from the rain today should be stellar... Or the opposite.... Did decent 1/16 blue hair jig

Very nice, glad you got out as we had wind gusts over 25 mph today. Awesome fish! :cheers2
25 seems nice to the white caps I jumped today.... Lol...

That's a sink full of beauty in my book!! Great job, especially fighting the wind.
Nice job 79!!
Since you evidently can handle the wind, think about moving to Oklahoma!

i would rather been jumping white caps myself. :ThumbsUp My better judgement got the best of me at midnite last nite and bought a helix Mega 10 DI on the net and already had a mega 9 SI installed when they came out, just got a 360 and spent last week installing and wiring it to 9. Spent 10 hrs today dismantling every wire and ducer, moved the 9 to back of boat and ready again to install DI 10 on front when it gets here. It’s been a real pain as a lot of the wiring I originally put under the aluminum floor and had to take it completely out so everything is finally back together. Now considering networking it all together. I have more in electronics now than what the G 3 hull cost me and at least 200 bucks in stainless steel screws, nuts and bolts. :Rofl Glad when it’s done. :cheers2
Very nice

nice pile man!:ThumbsUp
This morning, this thread would be titled , “fun and frozen buns!”. :Rofl
Been there and done that on the windburn for sure. Congrats on overcoming the conditions and coming away with the table fare. Awesome looking fish tacos too!!
Speakin' of bad winter weather... we are bracing up for "who knows what" from an approaching winter storm here in North Carolina... and I am bracing up for it with a big crockpot full of chili.
But, now you got me wanting some fish tacos while I'm waiting on the chili to finish cooking.
good luck to you guys in the south on this coming storm, I have been caught on the AT before in a snow storm backpacking and endured the beauty of it as well as the stress. Here this morning in southern Indianan we had low of 20-22 with chill factor as low as 8 and kept me from deer hunting with muzzleloader..:Rofl. Wife made veggie soup day before yesterday and we were just chatting of fixing crappies and fresh cut French fries for this evening! :cheers2Quote:

You're right it's cold... But I have an empty livewell and the boat is hooked up. About to head to a few creek mouths on the river and see how the sauger are doing.

Nice catch, I chickened out!
Man oh man!!! Great minds do think alike don't they. I just made a big crockpot full of vegetable beef soup day before yesterday too in anticipation of the possibility of the ice storm and possible power outages that they were threatening as one of the many scenarios that the weather folks where guessing about. I love how they give you three or more possible scenarios in order to improve the possibilities that they might be right for a change. I have only one scenario... and that's NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS... I WILL HAVE WARMTH AND FOOD (for the family) that I can just heat up on the Coleman Stove (if necessary)--REGARDLESS.
Heck of a lot of rain and snow melt will keep the Ohio rolling. We need a chang in the jet stream.
