I try so hard .......
to ketch em all …….
but in the end it doesn't even matter ……
some of yawl will get what I am yacking about and some not but to be sure I try to stay after them there crappie fish .I let most go as I don't need to kill them to show off or boast of my prowess or any of that kind of thing and my freezer has 15 bags in it right now ….besides I got a phone and can take photos of them ….:Rofl
Some spots have a decent bite ,some not so much and some just don't have a bite at all . Some of the fish are worthy of mention and some not so much . Some waters I hit are like crystal and others like coffee with cream ,some places I go deep and yet others very shallow .
some spots you had to hold the jig very still , some spots you had to drag it along and others you had to jig the fire out of it .
but in the end none of that matters, folks just want to see crappie photos it seems to me and so I present the last week of a few of the more worthy fish . some were worthy because they fought like a bass and others because they were large ,some because I liked either the lack of color or the robust speckles and then some just made me smile .
its up to you tp decide why one was more worthy than the next as every ones opinion is a little different than the next .
hope you enjoy the photos and have a great day :highfive
p.s. yes I dusted off the ole Cherrywood Berkley hd and put a new Shimano on her and some slime line and gave a few test runs

Me and the wife had a pair of 5' cheery wood rods. We used them to dropshot for deep water bluegills. For pair of rods that we actually wore out. For the money they are hard to beat. Replaced them with GX2's

Nice fishes, and the Slime line looks as if it would be very visible when watching for subtle bites.
-
