Excellent video! Up here in the northeast, open, deep water fishing is tops all year long. We fish it basically the same way as the video depicts, although as of late we've elected to side pull our jigs to hit one school here and another school there, throughout the basin areas. I believe you have less chance of turning them off that way. JMO! :)

Im with ET Fish,I got a pack of Blue Ice in my bag and I'm pretty sure I haven't tried them out yet.Gotta make a point to give them a go when I get out again.

I like blue ice but glacier is my killer color. They work great but tear to quick.

Blue Ice is one of the favorites here in Alabama on the reservoirs that I fish. Add some Slab Sauce and get your hush puppies ready. Gene does some informative and down to earth videos.
