What he said...bigger hooks work best....at least on the MS Big Four where we fish they do. They hook them in roof of mouth instead of lip where it might pull or tear off.Quote:

I use 6, 4 and 2 . Just LL I wouldn't probably go with 2 long shank if I could find them but any will work.

1/0 or 1 for me.
#2 Sickle hook is the way to go! For a 1/24 oz jig, I can put a #2 on a 1/32 and it ways out at 1/24th. Sickle hooks are the way to go for sure.
