Thanks for the report. Hope you catch a bunch, I tried yesterday, no luck. This has been a tough season for me.
How is the wind there today? Blowing hard here in Greer, SC. Was going here, but backed out due to the heavy wind and family sickness.
Wind was blowing just hard enough to be aggravating the ipilot helped me stay on the spot though but I was trying to fish 1/32 Jigs and it was hard to get them down there you know what I mean

Hope it's nice there Saturday. I surely don't want another cold windy day sitting out in that kayak...lol. I feel like a bobber. :Rofl
I didn't make any noise today, they were easy to find, drop offs were holding fish, docks and all depths I spotted fish, not feeling my best today and didn't put alot of effort into it
Not to highjack this thread but, if they are on cover and pecking at the bait since they should have a full belly. Do you try to go for reaction bite ?
You are not hijacking anything post whatever you want but I think the way to catch them would be vertical jigging but just like I said earlier, my effort was lacking... I put a different color on 7 rods and had one with a double rigged minnow but they weren't biting... got a few bumps on the minnows but it was never taken
How is the water color? Looks like (and calling for) the lake level to go down. Any sign of that.
Last weekend I had to hold it pretty still. Some thumps but more just there.

We went out to main lake this evening. Wind was tuff. Water temp 62 back in cove 58 mouth of Duck cove. Water color still a lil stained Should clear up a lot by the weekend, Tight Lines
Wonder if rain tomorrow will muddy it more?
That’s good. Wanting it to clean up some.
The Cube site says its headed down but it hasn’t budged much this week. I heard that before hurricane Michael they had planned some shore clean up and it was down about 3’. Guess hydro need trumps draw down. Glad it’s clearing up. I need level to be about 1.4’ below pool to get under the bridges on FS and Abbot.

Pull the plug when you go by Saturday! The Tennessee gang is heading your way next week and we need to run around when we get out of the hills!
Getting my East Tennessee gang over is going to be epic.

Very low??? High Rock is very full.
I launched at Tamarac yesterday and the water level seemed to be at full pool!!!!
Hmmm, that means my little beach personal launch area is no good. Bummer, have to use the ramps with the big boys. :Rofl
