Blackshear draw down

Heard today they was gonna start draw down at Blackshear tomorrow. Does anybody know how quick and how far they will drop it? Was going camping the 12th. Reckon the water front camp sites at Veterans will have any water?

I was there yesterday and it’s already started. Hope they pull all the duckweed off the lake. Don’t know answers to your questions but that the fishing gets good when it’s dropped down.

I cant wait. Got a CUSA tournament in ky this wknd to help pass the time. May try to fish on the 12th if the weather permits. Dont know much abt these lakes in SW Ga or Talquin but Ive been listening and reading alot. Seems like it starts being more consistent mid Nov. Plan to know a lot more abt the lakes by spring.

I went over it yesterday and it didn't look like it had dropped very much yet. Tomorrow will be a week since they started dropping it. I'll take another look at it tomorrow afternoon.

yes, my brother was at his camper last week and several small boats went out there. with a small boat, the mouth has a sandbar you can go through on the left side keep it on the plain. state park should be ok and the campground ramp should be ok. i have put in at both when it was down. don`t know about the mega ramp.
