I'm betting on Pat Summit from womans TN. Ha! Ha! She would do better then Tubby if the boys gave her half a chance.
Calipari is out. He just signed a big extention with Memphis. If I was a betting man I'd say Donovan but there are a lot of "if's". I'm hoping Donovan or Patino. :DQuote:

I think it's interesting that when asked, Donovan doesn't say anything to make people certain that he intends to stay in Floriday. Florida is always going to be a football school and he will play second fiddle to Meyer. Florida basketball only sold out two home games last season as well....go figure. Natl champs and all. I think he might test the water at Kentucky. It will be interesting to see what happens. He's done an awesome job at Florida.
I think the reason he is not talking because as long as no one knows what he's thinking it could help get a big raise if he stays at Florida. If he is coming to KY it would be disrespectful to his players to start talking 2 days after winning the NCAA, I think he is a class act.
well since it's to cold and windy to fish might as well keep talking about our dilemma. Donovan staying put...so who have you heard will be on deck? I'm hearing something about Texas's coach.
Rick Barnes Tex coach hope
I heard on the radio this am, Barnes declined, staying at Texas.

Billy Gillispie to be named Head Basketball Coach for UK.
Chris
I think it's a good hire. I'm excited about next season!:D
His resume looks good and they say he's really good at recruiting. That's something Tubby couldn't do. He had Utep and Texas A&M competitive in no time. Let's see what he can do with our Cats. At least his style of play will be better to watch.
I agree his resume is impressive and every person that has written about him makes a comment about what a "GREAT" recruiter he is. An SEC coach that wished to remain "anonymous" said it is scary to think how good Billy's recruiting classes will be now that he has Kentucky on his back. He is divorced w/ NO kids and works about 18 hours a day as basketball is his life. Only know what I've read about him, but I'm excited about what he has to bring to the program.Quote:

I think ESPN is very biased against UK. They prefer the ACC.
I believe you are exactly right! They always have leaned toward the ACC! :mad:Quote:

As far as our expectations, what they fail to realize is our tradition and love for the game developed years ago. Kentucky fans are passionate about the Cats and we do expect to other teams to dread playing us at least. Should be some good times ahead once he get's a few more players.
