Took my buddy and trolled crankbaits in crane and second creek.
Not a single fish. Really muddy and tons of trash on main lake. Never saw more than a couple shad balls. Tough.

I was thinking about trying to pull in the morning don't know if I will now I might have to end up cleaning the yard. Will let you know if I go out
Finished cleaning my yard up from the storm today. Was planning to go to HR but now might hit Lake Lucas instead. Undecided. Thanks for report.
CW thanks for the report. I'm suppose to take clients out tomorrow on HR but I think I'm going to counsel them out until these rivers and creeks settle down

Sounds like it may be tough. I haven't seen the lake since Thursday but all the reports say it's a mess. Cold front with high/muddy water may have them shut down. Might be worth a try tbough, just expect the worst and hope for the best. Good luck if you go....Temps are gonna be wonderful...Quote:

Sounds like I should have gone down to flat swamp but would have taken an hour. Could only go about 10 mph on main lake with all the logs and trash.
You couldn’t get under bridge if you got down there. Crane looked a lot better today.
Glad I decided on Lake Lucas by the sound of it.
High Rock is a good lake. However it can be dangerous especially after storms. Been there when it looked like a log factory! But I still love it.

Flat Swamp is usually fishable when nothing else is. Plenty of places in Flat swamp to keep you busy for day. Don't tell anyone but It might be the best large bass area on the lake. ;)Quote:
