No power at my house, got the generator running...so it isn't to bad
Thunder that picture breaks my heart. I had a tree fall on my boat a couple of years ago during a bad thunderstorm. Luckily it wasn;t damaged to bad.
Thunder I'm assuming you and your family are okay. Please keep us posted.
We are fine thanks for asking. We only lost buildings and shelters and a few trees. My contact at the power company said we will probably be without power for at least a week. I was not there during the storm. I left ahead of storm to come to Atlanta for doctors appointment Thursday morning. I’m still battling this old back trouble. According to my son my boat is not hurt maybe a few scratches.

Wow, glad it looks worse than it is. Best regards.
Sounds like nobody was hurt which is great. I live about a mile from Oconee and we had no damage.
We got hammered in Albany with Cat 3 winds. Trees down and still no power but the house was spared and we are all safe. They tell us it may be another week before we get power. Took a few days to dig out, and in the cleaning and repairing process now. I'll be glad to get back to work so I can get some rest!!
Glad you and your family were spared

no damage at my house one fence panel down and a lot of limbs. the camper at the lake is ok according to my brother. he went over and cleaned up limbs. one house trailer on the waterfront was destroyed . some others have some damage nothing major.
Prayers to all who were in harms way. I've seen the coverage, showing the total coastal devastation at ground zero and how far Hurricane Michael's destruction reached far inland. It is so sad to see those who lost everything... whose futures are so wrought with problems and challenges for many weeks, months or many months to come. We all have seen just how Mother Nature is certainly no joke... and how she don't care who is in the way or how inconvenient she makes it when she shows her uglier side. It's amazing what power these things bring with them: Heck, we are 670 miles from Mexico Beach Florida here in Central NC. ...and we had 60 mph winds and several inches of rain as it crossed directly over us.
Hi Everyone,
Just checking in, home front, sort of looks poorly but no one got hurt:pray:pray, we had most (5out of 7) grand kids , our son and 1 daughter.
We had 42 trees blown down and only 5 went on the roof and 2 are in the pool.
Week later things are looking much better -- fishing boat was not touch!!!!!!!!
180+ miles North on Mexico Beach, Cat. 3 Hurricane, Go Figure:dono
PS: Still have not seen my State Farm folks:banghead

GOOD BAD UGLY
I feel your pain. Looked the same here in Albany. Finally got power back on last night and just about cleaned up. Ready for cooler weather and some fishing!!!
We are still with no power. Power company said today that 80-90 percent would have power by Sunday and the other 10-20 percent could be up to 14 more days. Powerline are still down all around me. I know I’m ready for power, cooler weather, and to catch some specks!
