Well, I tied these jigs with a patch over my eye while laid up after eye surgery. They not perfect, but ain't either. Glad to have both eyes up and running again.

Look pretty good to me. :ThumbsUp
OK question I’ve seen several tied jigs with what looks like huge jig heads. Are they different material (tungsten, etc) or are they like 1/2 oz??
I love the tight neck style. I did a few the other day, Long and slender neck!:cheers2
They are just 1/4 oz lead with 1 or 1/0 hooks. I got them from grousefly several years back. I just paint em put the clothes on em.
Great work Tom, and glad to hear you got the other eye fixed!

You tie nice jigs Tom. Nice work. You run low on jigs, just holler.
They look really great, I,ve tried tying my own but they did,nt turn out that well. Maybe someday I,ll get the hang of it.
I have always pushed guys to use FAOL lessons and while it's flies they still tie with the same materials as we do plus a lot more. Still the way they do things is right and maybe if you try looking at their step by step lessons you can pick up some help? Give it a try, just click on Fly Tying, then Beginning tying, maybe skip a couple of the tool lessons if you know them, but then just look for lessons that use materials you want to use.

Those jigs are really nice. I’m glad you stuck with it. Hadn’t seen you post any recently and thought you may have quit.... but I “see” you’ve got more important things going on.
I know you boys catch fish regularly and glad you got your motor issue figgered out.
Toodaloo.
Play with em when you can to make em how YOU think looks good.
Otherwise fish what you’ve made and catch fish and have fun. While it’s fun to catch on what you’ve made, ... it’s not the lure, it’s figuring the fish.
That could be all bad info though.
