Went shrimping on my day off Friday. Got there before daylight. Started casting at daylight and threw till 11 with A LOT of breaks in between! Was not fast and furious like I like it but caught just under my 5 gallon bucket limit. Did catch something I have never caught in years of throwing out there - a large mouth bass! A 5 Gal bucket of Shrimp is well worth the trip to put the Boat in. Good Catch

They drain it every 5-10 years. Sat it is for vegetation control but I didn't see much vegetation out there.Quote:

Were you at Lamberts or Grand. The wife and I caught a limit in less than an hour at Grand Friday morning.
