Looks like a line stretching drag squealing bigger-than-my-pan fish. Good shot though, whatever it is!

Great White Shark?
Attachment 318434
Something big enough to eat ya! Whatever it pretty massive.
I wonder if that could possibly be a sturgeon? I wonder what the Feds would do if they found one that big in the river?
Look at the shadows... are those feet?
Edit: BFT, and the T stands for turtle.
Actually I have a great shot of what very well could be a sturgeon. TWRA has been reintroducing them in our waters for a few years now. Some have caught them as big as 4 feet. Below Center Hill Dam catches of them in the 2-3 foot range happen pretty regular.

can't wait until I get a mega.
Log/Timber
Just a guess but possibly a Paddlefish - you can see what appears to be the shadow outline of the Paddle "snout".
I web searched Nickajack and learned they do have Paddlefish in there.
Good eye....it was pointed out to me by a fishing buddy on Facebook......I completely missed it.....that’s what happens when you age......LOL

Could be a gar? :dono
Wow! Looks like that thing could also be about 10 feet long or more also.:dono
Spoonbill?
Gar
the Image looks over 5 feet long... The shadow fins not correct for a Cat or Great White... Sturgeon would be my Guess
Paddlefish gets my vote as well.
Spoonbill! I have seen many of them caught below the dam that were over 5’. Great shot anyway! Thanks for sharing
Again....its a piece of timber laying on the bottom. What looks like fins are limbs. The shadow has no space under it, and the jagged edge that appears to be the tail fin of a fish is where it splintered off before ending up in the water.
Have no clue what it is. I know that area like the back of my hand....fishing it 3-6 days a week from July up through May. It was not there earlier in the day or later in the day. As a matter of fact it was not there on the return pass...or several other passes. I will many times single pole troll to give myself a break from casting. Whatever it was moved in a matter of minutes......I went over same track exactly...saved track on iPilot.
