I'm working on being there. I'll bring Ferlon and his son Jordon if all works out for us! I'll deer hunt that morning and fish that night. I'll put some tooth picks in to hold the eyes open and go back deer hunting the next morning, come home and sleep through the football games. That ought to do it for my weekend!:Rofl
If I find and buy a boat by then I will be there

Billy did you wear out your old boat or convince someone that the boat was the reason you catch so many fish?
I think I got a crew. And maybe couple more guys from work will be there.
K guys the ones that r coming to the night stalk let's meet up at 6:00. That way dawgg can go around and mark his territory [emoji851]that way we can get to the spots we are going to fish before dark

I know he won't be following me! :Rofl
probably wont make this one going to take a crew to Wateree for a daylight trip if something happens they don't go I might try it
It looks like our vacation plans have been washed out so I might be able to come down and follow someone to fish.
I like tires better! Devil Icon Maybe good weather after all. Anyone thought about going to Crowders Creek?
Wouldn't mind trying Crowder's or Catawba Creek if the water isn't muddy that part of the lake
I want to follow you !
Crossed over the river yesterday and it was up, muddy and trashy.
I'm sure Catawba Creek is by now pretty rough looking. Hate I can't make another gathering.
Good luck to everyone that goes. Be safe and catch a bunch.

So are we doing Crowders or Ebenezer? I got to figure out what the ramp is
Is Crowder NC OR SC?
Buster Boyd for Catawba/Crowder's, pretty good ride from Ebenezer especially if there is any debris.
Ebenezzer r buster Boyd either one is fine just let me know

I done told everyone Ebenezer.
Well you don't have to be snippy
Yes I do ! I was doing that W thing and Dawgg was out chasin wood goats and you was doing that retard thing ! And who knows what mac was doing. Maybe brettw got a new buddy.
Probably better use Ebenezer. If the main channel of Wylie is anywhere as bad as High Rock was today I'm not getting close!
Maybe if Brett sent his drones out for recon duty and post, then we would know what the lake looks like for :fish. If I feel the way I do now this evening I won't be there. This vertigo is a azz whipper! I was lucky Thursday evening to get a wood goat so that part is now not a game changer. Just hope the lake is not to muddy!

Good job Ron! I've saw quite a few turkeys here lately too. This morning I was loading up a bunch of scrap metal to haul off and while loading, turkeys were gobbling. Hope you get well soon!
My brother got this one this morning Attachment 319083Attachment 319084

Nice buck! looks like his neck is swollen up some, I guess he was thinking about the rut a little early!
I'll try to be there Ofishlbizzness!
Guys We enjoyed seeing y’all at take off. I now know some faces to go with the names here on the form.
I spoke too soon about not having trouble on the water. Got to a spot on little Allison we was gonna try for a little bit got boat in place went to drop lights. Hooked up to battery and no lights , I had the battery on trickle charge and it showed 98% charged. But guess it’s bad. Had to change the connection terminals and hook to trolling motor battery. This would have been a very dark process. Lol. JD where did you get them head band lights ? They were a night saver. So we got hooks wet late. Boated 4 , lost one and then the perch moved in. Dang pest ! Anyway I hope all did well. We didn’t so we tucked our tails and left early. Hope for better luck next time. See y’all then.

At least you went and tried. I am hoping everyone got into the bite and brought some fish home. Thanks for the info!:popcorn
Just wasn't the same without the Big Dawgg to pick on last night. We had a good turn out I think there we 6 boats, everybody caught some fish.there was some debris in the sweater but not too bad. Water color was about usual. In Allison .
Hopefully Olfish will post the results before the next event. In the mean time I wanted everyone to rest assured that I remain÷d consistent and took last place. Or as Mac Crappie calls it 1st from the bottom.
Wife and I had a great time. She caught more than I did, I spent a lot of time baiting, taking fish off her li e and getting Perch tangles.
MAC and John thanks for organizing the event. John email me a picture of your sign up sheet so I can set up the white board with rows and columns as needed
We had a decent turnout last nite. Missed pettin our Dawgg. Hope you get that vertigo under control soon.Anyway we did have 8 boats turnout for the event.Had one crew retire early due to electrical problems. Hope you get it fixed and ready for our next event. Had a great time with every boat that was there caught fish. As usual some had more and some less. But we tried ! Bite was slow till bout 10;00 or so. Picked up enough that my boat went through 6 dozen minnows real quick. Not a lot of slabs but some nice fish weighed in. Thanks to everyone and hope to do it again soon. Weather was perfect and water was just about good as it gets on Wylie. Little trash down our end but very fishable. I found fish in 30 fow. Fishing bout 8-10 foot down. Very few from deeper. Kurt was next to us and he was same way. Anyway on to the good stuff.
First place went to Team maccrappie : with 5.1 lb. for 5 fish
Second was Team Tiger : 4.2 lbs.
Third was Team S.S. Minnow : 3.11
Fourth was a tie between Team Turkeyfoot and Team Oldfish : 3.3 lbs.
Fifth was Team Grady: 2.13 lbs.
Sixth was Team Miss emma :2.4 lbs.
Team Hudson 57 did make weigh in due to boat problems.
As said before Thanks to you guys and girls for coming out. Ya'll are the ones that make it happen. Thanks maccrappie for getting this going. We gonna do it again soon. Be ready .
Great job Ladies and Gents! Sounded like a great time on good ole Lake Wylie. Hate I missed it! I know there will be another time soon. You all did good and glad you caught fish. Thanks for the report and congrats to the winners!:highfive
