I can’t speak from experience because I don’t have one, but in my opinion, it’s the best setup for the front of your boat. If I had the $ I’d go buy it today. All the vids I’ve seen on it blow my mind!

Will like to have a version once Humminbird puts out one for my graphs . :biggrin
The 360 from hummingbird covers a lot more water and a lot cheaper !!!

I've been wanting to add the regular Panoptix to mine just having a hard time coming up with $ 999.99.
My wife just doesn't understand
That's a lot to just see 50.ft directly in front of your boat !!

The fisherman still has to catch the fish no matter what electronics you use! :cheers2
All you need is some Meatgrtter jigs and you can bring then closer then 50ft. But I’m liking the thoughts

Well, I have the live scope. It is awesome. Still learning it but it’s great. I am learning more about Crappie behavior and it’s pretty neat. The only things that I noticed is if Crappie go to the bottom, they seem that they are blending in with the bottom. I am still working on that thought. As for wind, I think it will be a little tougher at staying on the fish/structure and think that a bouy is still needed for brush pile marking. One more thing. The live scope will see plastic pipe, very clearly!
Think I’ll like mine when I get a little more seat time with it.
What ever happened to just going fishing ? Now its " who can afford the best electronics " yep, im guilty aslo but enough is enough . Turning into whoever spends the most gets the most ? I believe we have gone too far .................just saying .
seems i enjoyed fishing better really when i threw a 12' flatbottom boat , a anchor and my paddle in the bed of my truck . Simple fishing and good result . But just good ole single pole crappie fishing is a lost art . Gonna teach your kids how to read a graph or fish?
new idea , how about we throw all that high $$ away and just go fishing ? what a concept ? it worked for many years (i say many conservatively ) ........100's of years actually ,and yes , im guilty of spending 10K on two helix si,di,mega, chirp ,etc etc .with ultera troll motor and all the houpla etc etc . it does it all . But my grandson wants to know why were LOOKING and not fishing .? smart kid.
Dang dude.... just tell me how you really feel!! [emoji3] I get ya.... I will tell you one thing... I FISH!!! and I dont spider rig. I'm a single pole guy and can certainly find the fish without electronics and just ONE pole. Ask anyone that knows me... I find and catch Crappie on ANY waters. We fish hard and work for them too...
The livescope is intriguing to me. My buddy has one and he says it's a game changer. I just wanted to hear more folks.

Can't be any good. If they were BRM would have 3 of them on his boat.
The older electronics were very productive I knew an old man that would fill his boat up with a couple of batteries and a few cranks on the old wooden box he had

If you will read the specs, the panoptix livescope views out to 200 feet as well as down to 200 ft. As effective as 360, which is good as well

I am not impressed with 360 , only saw one work and could been the settings . This Livescope has got me interested from watching videos , not seen in person yet .
Now Lowrance has something similar called Live with Active Imaging. I don’t know anything about it other than what the website says.

What about Garmin having a 1.3 MHz transducer. Did they deal with hummingbird on that? That has me wondering what is going on.
X2!

Okay. On the thoughts of them working together. navionics owns lowrance. Garmin bought navionics. Hummingbird has a licensed agreement with Navonics on some of the transducer frequency and software I believe. So, it sounds like they are all kinda in some kind of working relationship.
I’m really liking my Livescope. If you have a problem with using electronics, then don’t.
I’m waiting on the New Lowrance HDS Live units and the New Lowrance Live Sight and. It’ll be out early 2019. I like the technology, plus I’m on the Lowrance Pro Staff and get a deal on em. Selling my Birds once I get the new stuff. Running both Lowrance and the Birds with 360 now.
FYI—, If you jig fish cover then the 360, Live Scope or the new Lowrance Live Sight will be nice. For trolling open water you won’t need or use them
much.

360 ain’t really that great. It’s ok, but this Live Sight stuff way outdates it. My 360 really helped me when I single pole fished Truman as far as Finding underwater cover off of the fence rows but you can’t see the fish with it very well. Watching the fish move around the cover is sweeeeeeet on the live view stuff. Lowrance is fixing to make that a game changer like Garmin has with their new Live Sight and you all know I’m a Lowrance guy. Always have been. Other than the Lakemaster card and 360, I’d never own a Humminbird. They break to much and their sonar and down imaging depth readings Stink and the screen blacks out with a warning when it loses sonar source, even in the chart mode!!! It makes it dangerous when using their chart to run tight channels on plane and the danged screen blanks out with a Lost Sonar warning. When running straight chart mode, I could give a care less if it has a sonar signal or not!!!!!!!!!!
