I was in Cabelas yesterday and that rod and reel is not in their store.

Is that only available online Brian?

I bought the rod from FishUsa free shipping no tax...The reel is a jdm Shimano that I got from Digitaka in Japan also free shipping no tax...the rod and reel combo only weighs 7oz...

Looks like the videos went kaput. Old thread, but just checking to see if anyone else is using these rods? How are the working out?

Never handled either myself but I hear good things about both. I’d like to use a JDM reel sometime for a couple of hours and see for myself. I’m not totally goofy but somewhat clumsy at times and would hate to break one of those rods.
