I met up with Mississippi Jig Head yesterday morning, to see if I could shake the skunk that has been riding around with me the last 7 trips. I switched back to spider rigging and started catching a few keepers and a bunch of trow backs just the opposite for him. Go figure same lake, same bait, shiners, same depth. That skunk must of been lurking close by. Did I mention it was HOT no breeze at all, had to dunk Spot a couple times to cool him off. I decided to make my own breeze and start field testing my freshly painted C 33 crankbaits with some good results. 22 got to cool off on the long ride home. Thanks for the invite MJH.
