My trolling mtr battery ran down to 66% according to my charger. It ran for about an hour and a half. Would you consider that in need of replacement?

It was either too small, not fully charged, low on water, or bad. If it was low on water for any length of time, it is bad.
YES . I CAN RUN MINE ALL DAY PULLING CRANKS AND NOT GET THAT BAD .
What size battery....what size trolling motor....and what size boat ?

Not knowing your battery group size so just a guess its not a real big one. You used a third in a hour and a half....so by that you have a 4 and a half hour run time at top speed. You should get more than that if you had a group 31 battery.
How old is your battery ?
Two yrs I think. Academy Sports did not punch the tag.

I get a Quart zip-lock bag ,, put the Reciept inside where the date shows then Tape it to the Battery -- but not in the way of checking the water level
That 45 motor guide on a tracker that size is not going to run very long on high speed. They are not a very efficient motor and you probably have a group 27 battery which won't hold up long under those conditions. At the very least you need a group 31 deep cycle battery and you will still be lucky to get 3-4 good hr's run time on high. Get you a couple of 5 gal buckets and rig them up and pull with big motor. Or spend the money and get a terrova.
Checked this morning and the battery is a group 31 Exide. Charger said it was charged back up to 100%. I checked and the water was low ( down to the plates) so I topped it off with distilled water. Hoping for the best. Attachment 316737

Sounds like your battery is good to me. Give it another go.
