Great Job John
Nice catch John I am assuming you were pulling jigs
Feels good to learn a new tactic and it begin to pay off.
Were you fishing as deep as the crank bite has been?

Awesome. Curious what lake and how many did you have to catch to get a limit?
Nice catch.Congrats!
Good going John.... Maybe that's what we should be getting on the Rez....
1.1mph is what I was doing today, around 1 mph is the rule of thumb.
THANKS I WILL GIVE IT A TRY .
I foresee a Crappie.com jig pullin fest in the future.[emoji16]

Congrats buddy. Those look nice.
Good job! Them fishes on Enid don’t like jigs ! don’t be spreading those lies !:Rofl
Glad to see you got on em while longlining. I don't know whether longlining or spider rigging is my favorite way to fish.
This fall I'm going to play around with putting a 1/2 ounce weight ahead of the jigs to shorten the length of line out and use line counter reels.
It's hard for me to get jigs down deeper than about 12-15 feet.
I caught them on jigs with the added 1/2 ounce weight while we were at Crankfest. We were pulling at 1.5 mph. That's faster than I would normally pull jigs but we were fishing with both crankbaits and jigs. When fishing above grass at home I have pulled jigs at 1.2-1.3 mph continously to keep them out of the grass, and worn them out.
That sure beat me on cranks today. I caught 86 on cranks with maybe 8 keepers. They liked 100 feet of line and 1.8 mph.
You are going to have to teach me the long lining some day.
Do you fish from the side like cranking or out the back? If out the back, how do you watch your depth finder?
Congrats on the limit.
Off the sides just like cranking, shaft is too short on the trolling motor to stay on the back deck all the time.

When I went to Enid last year I caught more pulling jigs than I did cranks. Get you some Bobby garland stroll 'r with 1/8 road runners and pull at .7mph with as much line as you can throw will be about 16 foot deep.

That looks like a new method for this old guy to learn.
Gotta, Love it, Congrats!!
What length poles, line counter reels or just bait casters? If Bait casters how do you figure amount of line out and how deep?
Is that all white poles?
18 and 14, 11 is a hi tech and the 5 is actually a 410 bnm
