Met Andy at the ramp at 6:30 and headed out. Ran into Slimjim out there. No big fish today. Ended with 18 going home between 10" &12" . Fished 8' of water. Hot and headed out at 10:00. Son had a good time out there.Attachment 314693

Last week sure spoiled me. Set a 12" minimum size this week............well only kept 6 fish slow in both areas I fished. West shore was full of weeds in the water, hard to troll. I've had to replace a few but they are easily removable & I just put it in a rod holder on the center console - no holes to drill, no extra mounts.
I have a bimini top and hate trying to fish around it.
I have one because the wife insisted we have one for her and the grand kids. Mine is stowed in the upright position like a radar arch right behind the console seating. When deployed it is a pain to fish around unless you are on the bow. When it is raining it is nice to get under it as it is a over sized top and keep all but hard blown rain off you. It is nice place to get out of the sun if you are not fishing. I even have the grommet holes in the top so my rods can still ride in the console holders. I will agree with you all it is a pain fishing around it. Don
Mine is stored along the back wall in garage. I will put it on for boatrides and sandbars. Off for fishing. Now someday hopefully a Ttop will come into play.Quote:
