2 Gewbers fishing Nimrod with Nimrod for Cats
After we slaughtered them on Enid Lake at the Mississippi Crankfest, Billbob and I continued our summertime fishing tour. Ted and Ed's Excellent Adventures took them to Arkansas to fish with Nimrod. Nimrod reported that the Crappie were not biting very well, but if we wanted some good tugs on our fishing rods, we could go catfishing. Say no more, we were game for anything, so some good fish fights was what it was gonna be all about.

Next thing you know, we are catching cats, left and right. It was unreal, non-stop action, one after another. 30 kitties in two hours flat! If my math is correct that's one fish every four minutes. Wow!

C.A. was super busy taking the cats off the line. He wouldn't let the guber handle them for fear he'd get stuck by a fin.

What a great trip it was. A little change of pace from catching crappie. They were all Channel Cats and some were huge. They fought like a ton of bricks.

C.A. cleaned the fish to donate to some elderly folk that would love to have them. Some good eating for sure. Ain't nothing wrong with catfish whatsoever.
